My newest project is a logo for the Riverside Brookfield High School Music department. The photo was created using a variety of tools such as gradients with opacity and the shape tool to make the shine on the music box and the handle respectively. There is not much I would change about my project even if I knew more; the logo is meant to be simple yet interesting, and I think I accomplished that fairly well. The title is simply Music Box.
My second project is completed. This is my sliced and exploded project, entitled Cutthroat. When compared to the original project, you can see that more depth has been added and a rim can be visible where I have been decapitated. I used the feather tool to blend the neck and eye better and I used the burn tool around the end of my head to give it more depth. I adjusted the background to make it wilder and I made everything brighter overall. It was a really cool project. The burn and highlight tools are both really cool to use. Inspired by views from the Enlightenment, I meant to show how much humans depend on observation.
My goals to improve the image:
1. Adjust the brightness on the face. 2. Blend the eye and the neck better. 3. Make a more interesting background. 4. Add in highlights. 5. Add shadows and highlights to make the head look sliced as well. |
