So it's the seventh period of my first day of school. All is going well. I'm positive that I'll be able to figure out how to do stuff in photoshop without too much trouble. But, if you ever were a walrus in the middle of the desert, you would probably know how I felt. Thankfully, I quickly found out what buttons made me look stranger and made this piece of what is commonly considered art. It was a pre-test, so, having little pre-knowledge of photoshop, I mostly had to figure things out for myself. I primarily used different tools and the liquefy tool to make my hair spike and my smile sassy. I've entitled the work Don't Worry, and it is a very interesting portrayal of myself (at least in my eyes). Pretty creepy.

Good start, Galen. I'm sure you learned quite a bit just exploring the possibilities within Photoshop. You have the right attitude knowing that you will simply build on your knowledge as the class rolls along. Keep that open mind and thirst to learn, it will take you far! I would recommend working with the 'Brightness' command under 'Adjustments' to make your work more visible on the computer screen, and more importantly, in print. Great start!
